Camila Cortina is a pianist, music educator, musicologist and composer from Cuba. Born in Havana, she studied Classical Piano and Theoretical subjects at Amadeo Roldan Conservatoire. She later majored in Musicology with Summa Cum laude distinction at the Higher Institute of Arts.
In 2010, Camila moved to Asia and performed as a pianist and music director of different international cover bands across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. She was a recipient of Berklee World Tour full tuition Scholarship in 2018 and relocated to Boston, MA. In 2020 Camila received the Duke Ellington Award from Berklee Jazz composition department and the Pianist/Composer award from the piano department.
